Ask the Software Architect
Have you ever wondered what it would take to enhance your favorite open source software to add a new feature or pay down some tech debt? Now you can ask the software architect to find out.
This is a free service. There is no registration but you do have to provide your email address to verify the question and receive the answer.
Here is the list of open source projects currently supported: Cassandra, Debezium, Druid, Elasticsearch, Lucene, Kafka, Neo4j, and Apache Spark.
You can ask about the current architecture or how to enhance it. You can ask for just a high-level pitch or a detailed plan. You can also ask about reducing accidental complexity in general.
Do you wish that you had something like this for your own proprietary software projects? Let's talk!
